HYPERGLIDE

The Hyperglide™ High Performance Door you are about to look at has a number of features brought about by a simple idea – to increase the performance of both the speed and wind resistance of the door. This was achieved through the development of the AirStrip™ – an innovative and effective design feature that has transformed the standard door design to one with key advantages.

FASTER

The Hyperglide™ High Speed door will operate at speeds of up to 3.0m/sec on doors up to 4.0w and 4.0h and 2.0m/sec on doors up to 6.0w x 6.0h. The new AirStrip™ design enables the door to operate at these speeds without wear on the door blade.

QUIETER

The AirStrip™  was designed to combine high speed with quiet and smooth operation. Constructed from a flexible rubber strip, the Airstrip dampens noise and creates a cushioning effect when the door runs at high speeds.

CLEANER

The AirStrip™ feature on the Hyperglide™ separates the layers of the door blade to ensure that the PVC has minimal contact with itself. This will ensure that dirt is not infused into the PVC, protecting the vision panels and preventing surface damage over many thousands of cycles.

STRONGER

Many door designs over 4.0m wide struggle to perform in high winds. This is often a result of the track retention systems being under excessive load, or the rigidity of the door blade is not up to the task. The Hyperglide™ AirStrip™ design enables the wind bar system to be greatly strengthened to handle higher wind class up to 6.0w x 6.0h. Increasing the integrity of the wind bars has no impact on the speed or the smoothness of the door operation.

HYPERCHILL

The AUTO MOSSA HyperChill is a new generation High Speed Chiller Door designed for chilled storage applications. The door blade is constructed from two layers of a PVC coated woven fabric. The insulation is two layers of twin wall foil separated by air. Integrated into the door blade is the patented AirStrip system. The rubber AirStrip design allows the door to roll-up without loading or compressing the insulation in the door blade, this enables the door blade to maintain its full insulation performance over its lifetime. It also allows the door to operate at faster speeds with a smoother operation. The door comes standard with a soft bottom edge and automatic curtain relocation function.

THERMAL ADVANTAGE

The door blade insulation offers an overall U value of 1.7 W/m2C which means its one of the best performing high speed chiller doors on the market.

PATENTED AIRSTRIP

Designed to extend the life of the door, constructed from extruded rubber with reinforced webbing, ensures there is a 20mm separation between the door blade layers as it rolls up. The glide strip also allows the door to operate smoothly at speeds of >3.0m per/sec.

KNOCK-OUT FUNCTION

The HyperChill has a built-in crash function which allows the door blade to be dislodged and then automatically realign itself on the next down cycle.

HYPERFREEZE

The AUTO MOSSA HyperFreeze™ is a new generation High Speed Freezer Door designed for cold storage applications. With its advanced thermal performance the door is suited to operating environments down to -30 degrees C. The door has also been designed to operate without air movement fans in most applications. The other important benefit is the doors resistant to impacts by fork-hoists, with the robust door blade design, crash-out capability and auto relocate feature.

THERMAL

The most important aspect of this door is its thermal performance: five layers of twin wall foil separated by air giving a 30mm thick door blade with a U Value = 0.9 W/m2C. The two outer skins are made up of 900 gsm PVC coated woven fabric giving the overall product a high thermal performance combined with strong impact resistance.

FASTER

The HyperFreeze™ High Speed door operates at speeds of up to 3.0m/sec on doors up to 4.0w and 4.0h. The new AirStrip™ design enables the door to be sized up to 5.0w on special applications.

SMOOTHER

The AirStrip™ was designed to combine high speed with quiet and smooth operation. Constructed from a flexible rubber strip, the Airstrip dampens noise and creates a cushioning effect when the door runs at high speeds.

SEPARATION

The AirStrip™ feature on the Hyperfreeze™ separates the layers of the door blade to ensure that the PVC has minimal contact with itself. Importantly this ensures that there is no load or pressure on the insulation within the door blade, allowing the air-spaces to hold their integrity and therefore the thermal properties of the door are maintained throughout its life.
